Shoez respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and delivery and billing addresses.
- Order details, such as what you bought and when.
- Account details, if you create an account.
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages you visit, collected through cookies.
- Messages you send us.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders.
- To contact you about your order, returns or questions.
- To run, secure and improve our website.
- To send marketing emails, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run the store, such as:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Delivery companies such as Australia Post, to deliver your order.
- Our website hosting provider (Hostinger) and email providers.
- Analytics or marketing tools we use on the website.
Some of these providers may store information overseas, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you logged in and understand how the website is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using a secure (HTTPS) website and a PCI-compliant payment provider. We keep information only for as long as we need it, including to meet legal requirements.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@shoez.site. We will respond within 30 days.

If you have a privacy concern, please email us first at info@shoez.site and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
